In 1000-anniversary of Kazan: more positive than negative

Disagreement with position of the separate mass media accenting attention only on negative aspects of preparation for the 1000-anniversary of Kazan ( destroyed old houses, accompanied by scale civil works, etc.) was expressed by the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev during the expanded session of RT Cabinet which passed today in the Kazan Kremlin.

Such scale construction is going in the republic, perhaps, for the first time for all its 1000-years history and is connected, in particular, to preparation for the anniversary. And this should please us, Mintimer Shaimiev considers. And in fact still more recently it was difficult even to present, that it would be possible to overcome such volumes of construction. In opinion of the head of republic to search only for the negative on background of that is being done is incorrect. " To see only negative means to stop itself in growth, to deprive from future", - he is confident. Today it is necessary to cheer up people because we go to anniversary, and the 1000-anniversary happens not every day, and it is necessary to be able to value what is done.
