Today President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev familiarized with a course of construction of the International horse-racing complex (IHRC) which should appear on a place of the old Kazan airport.
Construction of new object is supervised by Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexei Gordeyev, RT Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and foodstuffs Marat Akhmetov and head of Kazan administration Kamil Iskhakov.
The steadfast attention of the republican leadership to this object erected to the anniversary of Tatarstan capital is reasoned by the fact that in August horse gallop of thoroughbred saddle horses and run of trotters for the Cup of the President of Russia will be held on a new hippodrome. Such large and prestigious competitions will pass in Kazan for the first time. Holding of horse-racing holiday, participation in which will be accepted by the best equestrians from all regions of Russia is possible only on a hippodrome corresponding to the world standards.
