Mi.Shaimiev congratulated V.Shantsev on assumption of office of Nizhniy Novgorod region`s governor

August of 8 President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in ceremony of assumption of office of Governor of Nizhniy Novgorod region by Valeri Shantsev. At extraordinary meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the region held in Armorial hall of Nizhniy Novgorod fair, Valeri Shantsev vested with powers of governor, took the oath, thus, officially having entered in a post.

On behalf of heads of subjects of the Volga Federal District President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev made a speech.

Change of the first person of any region, country, enterprise, collective depending on scale is a fateful solution. Well-being of one of the largest regions of the Russian Federation depends on actions of the first person - Nizhniy Novgorod region, M.Shaimiev said. In consciousness of Russians Nizhniy Novgorod region at all times was considered as one of powerful by intellectual level, featured by ability to do difficult affairs in interests of the country and the population.

Mintimer Shaimiev presented Valeri Shantsev the gilded bas-relief with image of the renewed Kremlin of 1000-years Kazan. "From the Kazan Kremlin to the Nizhniy Novgorod Kremlin, - RT President said handing a symbolical gift to the new governor of Nizhniy Novgorod region.
