The bank "Zenith" is the basic investor of the project, the finnish company "Lemcon" carried out the designing and construction of the palace « Kazan - 1000 ».
The head of the Federal agency on physical training and sport , the legendary hokey player, repeated Olimpic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov handed the symbolical key of the Ice palace to the capitan of youthful hockey combined team of Tatarstan and the puple of the republican school of figure skating at opening ceremony. After that the world famous rock group "Scorpions" congratulated the citizens of Kazan on the anniversary of city.

Under prognosis, the hockey players of " Ak bars" will spend about 30-40 games in one year in the new palace. There will be many international competitions by all kinds of sport, including water and also various ice shows, consert programs.
