M.Shaimiyev participated in the opening of a new “Edelweiss” milk plant in Kazan

A milk plant “Edelweiss” with 1000 tons of milk a day productivity opened in Kazan. The symbolic red ribbon on the opening ceremony was cut by Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiyev and RF Duma deputy Airat Khairullin.

The originality of the plant is that it is a manufacture with 100% processing and works wasteless. The plant is supplied with modern up-to-date eqiupment of “Tetrapak” company for producing milk and cheese foods with a package following. The manufacture can produce milk, cream, sour cream, joguhrt, kefir, chesees, i. e. 95 titles of articles at a time. The production is organized in aseptic conditions. The usage of preservatives is totally excuded.

Mintimer Shaimiyev noted, that we are on the right way with this excellent modern project. No one can lead on the market without up-to-date technologies.

Airat Khairullin informed that the plant costs from piling to montage 1,2 billion rubles. At present the manufacture is only loaded for 30%, but the raw material base is being increased. When the milk plant goes on a full load the cost of total production will be 4 billion rubles. The annual profit is expected to make about 1 billion rubles.
