Participants of international exhibition in Basel showed interest to Tatarstan products with national symbolics

Practically, Day of Tatarstan turned into Day of Russia which took place within the framework of the International exhibition - fair of watches and jewels being held these days at the Swiss Basel.

90 percent of the Russian exposition consisted of Tatarstan enterprises output. The items with national symbolics have caused the greatest interest among the visitors.

Speaking about participation in the exhibition of our enterprises, RT Minister of trade and external economic cooperation Hafiz Salikhov noted, that products with national symbolics, in particular, devoted to forthcoming 1000-anniversary of Kazan enjoyed a big popularity among the attendants. He also informed, that within the framework of exhibition the negotiations between “Vostok” representatives and the foreign companies are under way on issue of promoting Tatarstan output in the different countries of the world.

According to the information received in trade and economic representation of Tatarstan in the Swiss Confederation, Tatarsan side also has received the offer from German watch manufacturers about arranging trading platform in Kazan where residents of the republic could buy watches of leading world manufacturers that refers to, "first-hand". Probably, the issue of cooperation between Tatarstan and foreign companies in this direction will be discussed later.
