On May 4 in Kazan the Museum - memorial of war will open. The unique in Tatarstan so extensive museum of Great Patriotic War will settle down in territory of the Kazan Kremlin in a building of former Cadet school.
Exhibits have come in its exposition from funds of RT National museum, materials of collections of the military - search organizations "Snow landing" "Fartherland" and editions of Book of Memory among which such rarities as well-known Maobit M.Dzhalil 's writing-books, memorial complexes of Tatarstanians - Heroes of Soviet Union, many of which will be presented for the first time.
The museum - memorial has been created on the basis of the Decision of RT Cabinet RT as of January 14, 2003 under the offer of the RT Ministry of culture dated to 60-years anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War. Its display area makes more than 400 square meters.
