In accordance with the RF President Putin’s decree, about 100 cultural figures received state awards and honorary titles. RF Minister of culture and mass communication Alexander Sokolov presented the awards. The conductor of Russia State Academic Bolshoy Theater, art director of RT State Philharmonic orchestra Fuat Mansurov was confered on a Friendship Order. The acterss of Moscow “Sovremennik” theater Chulpan Khamatova was among those who acquired the title “Honoured Artist of Russian Federation”.

Fuat Mansurov has been working in the Bolshoy theater for 38 years. He is the only band-master, who has a title of academician. He was rewarded with a diploma of academician of the International Music Academy in Zurich thanks to elaboration of an adaptation system for young musicians.

Fuat Mansurov has been a professor of Kazan State Conservatory since 1986, and the chief conductor of RT State Philharmonic orchestra since 1989. He also received an award “In commemoration of Kazan millenium”. Maestro arrives in Kazan at the end of December, to conduct a- New-Year’s concert in S. Saidashev State Major concert hall.
