Concert "Bridge of love", devoted to the 1000-anniversary of Kazan took place in Moscow

Yesterday, grand festive concert took place at the State concert hall "Rossia " in Moscow « Bridge of love » devoted to the 1000-anniversary of Kazan. Famous masters of arts of Tatarstan and Moscow took part in it.

Welcoming the visitors, the First Deputy Mayor of Moscow Lyudmila Shvetsova expressed wish of capital residents as far as possible to take part in anniversary actions in capital of Tatarstan and informed, that in August before the main celebrations in Kazan Days of Moscow would be held. Let forever residents of Moscow and Kazan would happily, peacefully and amicably live on our remarkable land », - L.Shvetsova said.

Having transferred on behalf of President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev words of profound gratitude and acknowledgement to Muscovites, mayor of Kazan Kamil Iskhakov noted, that Moscow and Kazan - two major economic, scientific and cultural centers of Russia which are united by much in common : old universities, rich cultural life, new innovative programs. "Today" Bridge of Love »is connecting our hearts, we with pleasure are observing rich cultural life of Moscow Tatars. These two old cities have much to learn from each other in sphere of preservation of monuments of history. Moscow has actively joined in preparation of celebrating the 1000-anniversary, having undertaken reconstruction of one of the oldest streets of Kazan which today bears the name - Moscovskaya», - Kamil Iskhakov said.
