Mintimer Shaimiev handed State prizes named after Gabdulla Tukai

On August 30, according to long- term tradition, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev handed the State prizes named after Gabdulla Tukai to three prize winners of 2005 on the square in front of the Tatar state academic theatre named after G.Kamal.

The honored worker of RT arts, member of RF and RT Union of artists, the prize winner named after B. Urmanche Zufar Gimaev was awarded with the State prize named after G.Tukai for creation of picturesque portraits of contemporaries, figures of the literature and art of Tatarstan by the Decree of RT President. The poet, the honored worker of RT arts, the prize winner of RT Union of writers named after A.Alish Rustem Mingalimov was awarded with the prize named after G. Tukai for the poetic collection " Jug of passion ". He could not take part in ceremony, the winner's wife took the State prize. And the third winner is the member of RF and RT Union of composers, the honored worker of RT arts, the Prize winner named after D.Shostakovich Shamil Sharifullin . He was marked for choral concerts "Munadzati", " Village tunes ".

The Chairman of RF State Duma of Federal Assembly Boris Gryzlov, State minister of Turkey Beshir Alatai, Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of culture of Azerbaijan Polad Byul-byul ogli, mufti of Russia, sheikh Rafil Gainutdin anf others took part in solemn ceremony.
